SUBMIT for Long Bay Theatre’s 2024-25 Season - Long Bay Theatre

Long Bay Theatre 2024-2025 Season Auditions Long Bay Theatre is excited to announce that we are now accepting Non-Equity submissions for our upcoming 2024-2025 season! We are seeking talented performers for the following productions: "All Shook Up," "Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors," "A Sherlock Carol," "Honky Tonk Angels," and "Matilda." 

Productions and Roles: 

1. All Shook Up Chad: A greatlookin', motorcycling, guitarplaying young man who has just been released from prison. Charming and confident. Must play guitar well. Natalie: A young woman and an excellent mechanic who dreams of hitting the open road. Sassy, smart, and optimistic. 

2. Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors Dracula: The iconic vampire count with a comedic twist. A muscular sexy rock star. Requires incredible comedic timing and charisma. 

3. A Sherlock Carol Sherlock Holmes: The legendary detective, brought to life with sharp intellect and wit. British dialect.

4. Honky Tonk Angels All Roles Available: This production features three women from different backgrounds who meet on a bus to Nashville and form a country music trio. Strong vocal abilities and country music performance skills are a must. 

5. Matilda All Roles Available: We are looking for a dynamic cast to bring this beloved story to life, including Matilda, Miss Trunchbull, Miss Honey, and more. 

Submission Instructions: 

Submission Format: Please submit a video audition including a one-minute monologue if auditioning for a play. For musicals, 32 bars of a song that showcases your vocal range. For "Honky Tonk Angels," prepare a country music song. Submissions for CHAD in ALL SHOOK UP…Please play guitar while singing.

Virtual Callbacks: Will be conducted based on the initial video submissions. You will be notified if you are required to attend.

Rehearsal and Performance Dates: ALL SHOOK UP: First rehearsal July 29, Performance Dates: Aug. 28-Sept. 8 DRACULA: A COMEDY OF TERRORS: First Rehearsal Sept. 16, Performance Dates Oct 23-Nov 3 A SHERLOCK CAROL: First Rehearsal Nov. 11, Performance Dates Nov. 12-28 HONKY TONK ANGELS: First Rehearsal Jan. 13, Performance Dates Feb. 13-23, 2025 MATILDA: First Rehearsal March 15, Performance Dates April 17-May 4 

Please Note: First rehearsal date may vary based on role and contract. Please include any potential conflicts in your submission. Full rehearsal schedules will be providedupon casting.
